A single-stage oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump
With HUCKEPACK, Dr. Karl Busch developed Busch's first vacuum pump designed for food vacuum packaging, making a significant contribution to the packaging industry.Additionally, the HUCKEPACK single-stage oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump is the ideal choice for highly complex processes. For decades, these pumps have proven their reliability in demanding applications.
While other technologies continue to face setbacks, HUCKEPACK stands out for its robustness and operational safety. Depending on the process conditions, this vacuum pump can last for decades with minimal maintenance required.
How it works
HUCKEPACK is a two-stage rotary vane vacuum pump series. The pump stages are mounted one atop the other, with both stages featuring centrifugal rotors. The upper-stage pump chamber, responsible for lower compression, is equipped with a six-vane rotor, while the lower-stage chamber—handling higher compression—features a five-vane rotor, enabling an even greater compression ratio.Under the action of centrifugal force, each rotor blade slides outward, creating a cavity between the blade and the cylinder body. The medium being pumped is trapped within these crescent-shaped cavities.
During the rotation, the cavity volume continuously decreases. The pumped medium is compressed and delivered to the high-pressure second stage, where it operates on the same principle.
The HUCKEPACK rotary vane vacuum pump uses continuously supplied oil for circulation and lubrication.
